Youngblood Comic Series

For a couple years I was hired on at Extreme Studios to work excusively on Rob Liefeld’s #1 comic book, Youngblood. In these early days of digital color separation, I mainly used Tint-Prep software to produce digitally colored artwork. Using it was much faster and gave more accurate color control than Adobe Illustrator.

Below are some samples of digitally rendering color separation artwork I produced. My aim at the time working on Rob's artwork was to make it moody and cinematic while still involving bright and contrastive lighting elements that make comic artwork pop. The images really tell the rest of story...
